When out collecting bits n pieces for my art I never seem to have enough pockets to separate and store my bounty soooo.....
I've been stitching up a 'windfall collecting smock. Using an old cotton nighty that's been through umpteen dye pots and ecoprinted on numerous occasions I stitched some old dyed doilies and some woven cotton placemats into pockets for it.
She's almost finished. Bit more stitching on the big pockets and maybe some decorating round the neckline?
Not only can I use it for collecting but also to pack watercolor field kit etc for a spot of sketching. She's not pretty but she's practical :)
