Before I left home I rang Telstra to make sure I would have Internet access thru my computer via my iPhone. The lass was very helpful and I wrote everything down step by step but.......of course now I'm here even tho I'm following all the written instructions I can't get the darn thing to connect for me. Poo!
I made my way to the local Internet access centre at the primary school lugging computer, phone, USB cords and power leads only to find they couldn't help me either cos the lady didn't know anything about Macs :( Mary was lovely tho and let me ring Telstra helpline. All to no avail, thort we had it sorted but no. Aaaaargh I bloody give up!
Thank goodness Doug set up this bloggy thingy on my phone so I can at least post updates everyday to the few who may be interested. I don't even know if I'm doing right. I just push the blog button on my iPhone, type stuff and press publish so l hope I haven't posted things 20 times plus ha ha.
I would love to check my emails, fb and banking etc but..... I think a bit of sketching today instead will b much more calming :) My lovely pal Jane has made me a beautifully hand bound journal for my trip so today it loses it's virginity :) I've already scribbled a few words and put in some dye experiment swatches from the driftwood log heartwood.
