Delving into the dyepots....

Have been a bit preoccupied with galavanting around the bush being awed by the gobsmacking scenery of late but had a lovely day yesterday playing about in the dyepots.
Didn't end up doing shibori style dyeing of the cotton T's but ecoprinted them instead. So many luscious leaves around to try that I just couldn't resist it.
I also used some of the old driftwood heartwood to dye some skeins of merino wool. Two skeins were dyed using just the heartwood and one skein I added a nail to the pot for an iron mordant. See pics below.
The weather has been really mild last few days and I'm itching to get back out there and collect more windfall. So shall don my leg brace and be off again today :)
