Been doing heaps of wrappings. Thought I'd try some experiments with some of the coastal heathland plants. Also I've cut out a simple shift dress from some slubby silk which I'm endeavouring to sew by hand as the sewing machine was a bit too big to pack :)
This dress (if I get it sewn in time) will be a great canvas for ecodyeing/printing. Now that I have done a lot of experiments I'm starting to get a handle on which of the local plants will work best. Check out the funky Dr Flannel woollen shirt I found (opshop) it too should print well. I'll add more pics of heathland prints when they're dry and ironed.
