A few months ago we downsized from a large chest freezer to a small fridge/freezer. Now the kids have all left home we didn't need the giant freezer anymore to store meat/fish etc in bulk. Trouble is now I have very limited space to freeze all my dye plant treasures I find on my travels.
Anyhooooo to finally get to the point... I had left a bucket of ripe mulberries outside after the cleanout and completely forgot about them. I opened the lid a few days ago to find a dark fermented mulberry 'wine' (vinegar) Wellllll..... You know me, waste not want not ha ha ha.
